Key contributions
- Configured a Home Assistant environment on Raspberry Pi with an MQTT broker, enabling multi-client control
- Programmed ESP32 devices with ESP-IDF implementing NFC access control, a remote camera, temperature and humidity control, and a gas alarm
- Worked hands-on with UART, I2C, and SPI peripherals, configuring MQTT clients for communication with the host
- Integrated existing smart-home devices (Mi Home, Apple HomePod) and bridged the whole system into HomeKit for both LAN and remote control
